Meeting with Fatima, jewelry designer in Yaoundé

Fatima is a dynamic 28-year-old woman who decided to embark on entrepreneurship 5 years ago. Originally from Douala, she has always been fascinated by jewelry creation. After training in fashion design, she opened her own custom jewelry creation workshop in Yaoundé.

“I have always been drawn to craftsmanship and fashion. Creating unique jewelry allows me to express my creativity while making my customers happy,” she tells us enthusiastically.

Fatima works mainly with local materials such as wood, horn and beads. Her creations reflect the cultural richness of Cameroon and are highly appreciated by a clientele keen to support the local economy.

“My clients love the fact that my jewelry is handmade and that it highlights our heritage. It’s important for them to wear something authentic and unique,” ​​she explains.

Sylvie, a loyal customer

Among Fatima's loyal customers is Sylvie, a young 35-year-old professional. Sylvie discovered Crëazy Fashion's creations 3 years ago and has since become a die-hard fan.

“I love the style of Fatima’s jewelry. They are so beautiful and original! I also like the fact that she uses local materials. It is important for me to support the artisans of my country,” says Sylvie.

Sylvie has an impressive collection of earrings, necklaces and bracelets by Crëazy Fashion. She wears them proudly at work and at special events.

“My friends and colleagues always compliment me on my jewelry. They are surprised to learn that it is handmade by a Cameroonian designer. It is a great way to showcase the talent of our local artisans,” she rejoices.
